Within BIPA's vision for optimum development of civil service employees and its cooperation with the ministries and institutions of the Kingdom, to develop the capacities of employees of public sector, and effectively raise their competence and performance, the Institute provided a contractual course entitled “Journey in the space of creative thinking” for 25 employees of the Ministry of Finance to develop them in creative thinking to solve problems, how to see, read and deal with it in a new professional manner that ensures best solutions and finest results.
The course targeted the employees whose work requires finding solutions to the problems and overcome them properly and avoid largest possible numbers of damages and liabilities, as well as the development of creative thinking and employing its tools and skills for the staff to enable them to follow new ways to solve problems and develop working methods and decision-making, along with the ability to identify and analyze types of problems. Moreover the course linked training applications with the actual working in the government sector, and contributed towards creating sufficient flexibility for change and creative thinking.
In this context, the head of department of training and development at the Ministry of Finance; Abdul-Ameer Mirza pointed out that this course is part of a quality management system in place at the Ministry of Finance, which aims to raise the level of job performance, reduce the duration of service delivery and increase beneficiaries satisfaction, where the course addressed ways to develop creative thinking skills among staff, enable them to pursue unconventional methods in addressing administrative problems and challenges, in addition to developing working techniques and decision-making mechanisms in general.
As this course comes within the contractual training programs offered by the institute at all levels to meet the requirements of government agencies in training certain categories, according to the specifications and standards required by the applicant, also the Institute provides professional trainers who offer the required courses in a professional and high quality way in order to ensure participants getting best service and benefit.
It is worth mentioning that the Institute of Public Administration signed an agreement to provide advisory services to the Ministry of Finance, through carrying out a survey to determine the training needs for the staff of the ministry, and then develop a comprehensive training plan to meet the training needs of employees, in such a way that contributes to raising the efficiency of the human element in the framework of the objectives and basic principles of the Economic Vision 2030.
