The Institute of Public Administration announced the opening of registration for the second batch for the professional projects management program, which supposedly will start in October. This program in cooperation with the Ernst & Young international company, and it came to meet the urgent need to develop the management of government projects, especially in the midst of public sector's numerous projects.
The professional-level provides clear-sighted vision and areas of advanced knowledge related to function of project management, complex projects requirements, as well as comprehensive project management skills, which require a range of skills and advanced knowledge.
This level targets project managers, program managers, project monitors, senior staff of the Project Department (PMO), project executives team, and finally the team to provide project resources.
The program aims to provide the targeted groups the concepts of advanced and technological project management and training to manage scenarios of vital projects, as well as to make them more capable of leadership and management skills necessary for the implementation of projects, which helps them in the management of crucial decisions and conflicts, in addition to managing stakeholders and management of contracts and the implications on the success of the project. The professional level also aims to develop and motivate the work team and provide targeted groups with performance monitoring skills the and initiative in taking the right measures.
The program is designed over a period of two months, and contains 14 training days spread over eight training sessions as follows: a governance projects, planning successful projects, tripartite limitations and constraints project management, management of contracts and suppliers, effective communication for project management, improve the performance of the project, management of successful teams for projects, and finally project management tools.
It is worth mentioning that the Institute of Public Administration presents a bouquet of programs after the holy month of Ramadan, including the preparation Diploma program for the public sector and a preparation diploma for government leaders, and professional and basic project management, as well as a program on public finances, which comes in cooperation with the Civil Service College in Singapore.
