For developing human resources sector, BIPA announced the opening of registration for the ninth batch of professional certificate program in the fundamentals of human resources, which will begin on 17th September of this year in collaboration with the Australian Institute of Human Resources (AHRI) where the curriculum was constructed to meet the specific needs of human resources specialists and personnel management, based on extensive research conducted by the Australian Institute to identify core competencies in this field.
The aim of the professional certificate program in the fundamentals of human resources is to enhance the skills of staff working in the human resources departments in the public sector, and introduce participants to the civil service laws in force in the Kingdom of Bahrain as well as introducing them to management information systems used to manage the affairs of staff in government ministries and institutions.
Through this program the Institute of Public Administration present six main topics in the fundamentals of the Human Resources, as defining Human Resources and managing recruitment cycle as well as building and develop talents, besides it addresses the topics of performance management, occupational health and safety, in addition to measuring the effectiveness of human resources.
This program targets human resources assistants and administrative and supervisors who are in charge of supervising staff and any person who wishes to enter into the field of human resources, where the professional certificate in Human Resources fundamentals is approved and presented to the participants – after completion of graduation requirements – by the Australian Institute of Human Resources (AHRI).
