On International Youth Day, the Director General of the Institute of Public Administration: “The Kingdom of Bahrain Has Successfully Strengthened the Active Societal Role of Youth Through the Establishment of a Comprehensive System of Youth Programs and Initiatives”
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, emphasized that under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, may God protect him, and with the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, the Kingdom of Bahrain has successfully strengthened the active societal role of youth through the establishment of a comprehensive system of youth programs and initiatives. This approach has highlighted the capabilities, potential, and culture of Bahraini youth, providing them with valuable opportunities to participate in various fields. Additionally, it has elevated young talents and leaders, empowering them to engage in decision-making processes and the development of plans and initiatives. She further noted that the Institute is committed to supporting youth initiatives and projects, enabling young people to achieve the desired national aspirations and reflecting Bahrain’s steadfast vision.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Al Khalifa explained that the Institute of Public Administration offers a range of programs focused on developing the expertise of Bahraini youth and enhancing their leadership skills, in line with the Institute’s vision of being a “Center for Leadership and Administrative Development.” Among the most notable of these programs is the “HiPO Youth” program, now in its sixth edition, organized in coordination with the Ministry of Youth Affairs. The program aims to develop leadership skills and unlock their potential to achieve both local and international accomplishments. Additionally, the “Kheberat” program, offered by the Institute in coordination with the Ministry of Labor, is designed to empower Bahraini job seekers by equipping them with top-tier scientific and practical expertise, as well as professional certifications that position them as the top choice for the local job market in both the public and private sectors. Furthermore, the Bahraini Cadres Preparation Program for International Participation focuses on preparing participants through a series of interactive training modules that enhance their role in promoting national values and the Bahraini identity.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Al Khalifa added that offering programs and initiatives aimed at empowering Bahraini youth aligns with the Institute of Public Administration’s strategic plans, which focus on advancing administrative development and providing high-quality training for young leaders in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She emphasized the importance of nurturing their skills and abilities and expressed her pride in the Bahraini youth who have graduated from the Institute’s programs. These graduates have consistently demonstrated exceptional capabilities, driven by a national ambition and a passion that knows no limits. This motivates the Institute to continue launching more youth initiatives, building a comprehensive framework that contributes to Bahrain’s progress across various local, regional, and international fields.
