The Equal Opportunities Committee at the Institute of Public Administration held its second regular meeting of the year, chaired by Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration. During the meeting, the committee reviewed and discussed its strategic plan for 2024, focusing on taking the necessary steps to ensure the implementation of projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the role of Bahraini women and improving national outcomes.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Al Khalifa added that the institute, through its various local partnerships, is committed to implementing comprehensive mechanisms to build and develop the leadership capacities of Bahraini women in both the public and private sectors. This approach aims to ensure the sustainability of their contributions and empower them to play a leading role in enhancing institutional outcomes.
During the meeting, the committee reviewed performance indicators and assessed the progress made in projects and initiatives aimed at addressing the needs of women at the Institute of Public Administration. The discussion focused on ensuring equal opportunities, supporting and encouraging gender balance programs through incentive policies, and creating a supportive and motivating work environment for Bahraini women working at the institute.
