The Director General of the Institute of Public Administration welcomes the Director-General of the Executive Bureau of the Council of Ministers of Labour and Ministers of Social Affairs in GCC States
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, welcomed Mr. Mohammed Bin Hassan Al Obaidli, Director General of the Executive Bureau of the Council of Ministers of Labor and the Council of Ministers of Social Affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. They discussed areas of cooperation in research, knowledge exchange, and best practices that support the common interests of the GCC.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa emphasized the importance of aligning the training sector with the current and future needs and requirements of the labor market by training and qualifying human cadres which enables them to drive comprehensive development in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She added that the Institute has launched several programs aimed at making national cadres the preferred choice for the labor market, most notably the “Kheberat” program, which is offered by the Institute in coordination with the Ministry of Labor. This program is one of the initiatives aimed at developing and empowering Bahraini youth, thereby enhancing their competitiveness in the labor market.
Mr. Mohammed Bin Hassan Al Obaidli, Director General of the Executive Bureau of the Council of Ministers of Labor and the Council of Ministers of Social Affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, commended Bahrain’s efforts in promoting collaborative Gulf initiatives. He affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to introducing innovative training projects and initiatives aimed at increasing employment opportunities for citizens. He also highlighted the GCC countries’ dedication to providing full support for qualitative initiatives in the field of human resource development, which aim to enhance the capabilities and competencies of individuals, enabling them to participate effectively in the national development journey.
