Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, stressed the importance of continuing efforts to qualify young national cadres, in the early stages of their careers, through leadership training programs that will refine knowledge and skills to meet the current needs and future requirements, based on leadership and administrative values.
Her Excellency added that the Institute of Public Administration, through its strategic partnerships with a number of private companies and institutions, continues to offer leadership programs and training services. aimed at upgrading national cadres working in the private sector.
Her Excellency’s statement came during the closing ceremony of the Youth Leadership Program, provided by the Institute of Public Administration to cadres from Bapco Refining Company, a subsidiary of Bapco Energies.
Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa pointed out that the program was designed by the institute explicitly for young national cadres of specialists in Bapco Refining Company, by studying and analyzing the actual training requirements of their cadres, which were monitored in a scientific and systematic manner, with the aim of obtaining the best knowledge and scientific returns that enable them to participate in achieving the strategic objectives of the company.
For his part, Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, CEO of Bapco Refining, said that our strategic partnership with the Institute of Public Administration in the design and implementation of the program comes in fulfillment of Bapco Refining’s ambition to build a second tier of young national leaders. He praised the performance of the program’s young cadres who were able to come up with innovative projects that contribute to the development of work mechanisms, that contribute to saving time, effort and achieving efficiency, by using various skills and tools acquired in the training workshops and the various components of the program, which in turn will be reflected in the quality of services provided to Bapco Refining customers.
