Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, stressed the keenness to unify efforts and institutional visions between all public and private sector institutions, academic institutions, and civil society institutions in the Arab Gulf region, in a way that contributes to upgrading the capabilities of administrative cadres and raising their efficiency, through the exchange of applied practices, academic and scientific experiences. She noted that the Institute of Public Administration seeks to open wider paths of cooperation with the Arab Institute for Urban Development, including contributing to improving training, advisory and research outputs.
Her statement came during a meeting with His Excellency Dr. Anas Al-Mug hairy, Director General of the Arab Institute for Urban Development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a number of stakeholders from both sides, to discuss aspects of joint cooperation between the two sides in a number of areas.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa explained that the Institute seeks to open wider horizons of cooperation with institutions and concerned authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, towards investing in institutional cadres, which is reflected in the quality of performance and services provided. She added that the Institute of Public Administration employs the capabilities of its national cadres to study the needs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the region, towards raising the quality of training, advisory and research services provided, and making them suitable for the current and future development needs and requirements, in light of the rapid development witnessed by the world as well as all variables that require keeping pace with the rapid technological development, and the emergence of new areas that need innovation and creativity mechanisms, to make the services competitive and at pace with all variables.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Anas Al-Mughairy, Director General of the Arab Institute for Urban Development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, praised the strategy of the Institute of Public Administration, which combines the needs of the public and private sectors in the field of developing national leaders, developing the outputs of institutional work and making them keep pace with all current and future requirements and changes, pointing out that the Arab Institute for Urban Development seeks to expand the scope of its cooperation with the Institute of Public Administration, especially with regard to exchanging experiences, and discussing areas of cooperation in the design and implementation of a number of joint initiatives that serve institutional cadres in both countries.
