Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain pays great attention and support to its national cadres, as it is the main and real engine for achieving comprehensive development in the Kingdom. She ,stressed on the commitment of the Institute of Public Administration and its interest in empowering national cadres through various services it provides, including the cadres working in the health sector, through the Institute’s plans and strategies that are in line with the national vision aimed at empowering national cadres in various fields.
Her statement came during her meeting with HE Dr. Tasnim Al-Atatreh, representative of the WHO office in the Kingdom of Bahrain. During the meeting, Her Excellency explained that the Institute of Public Administration seeks to open wider horizons of cooperation with the World Health Organization, due to the existence of a set of common visions and strategies aimed at developing the health sector by investing in administrative cadres working in this vital sector, and raising their efficiency and the quality of outputs they can provide, Her Excellency added that the Institute offers a series of Training and Consulting services, after conducting a study and evaluation of the needs of the various authorities in the administrative field, and the current and future requirements to raise the readiness of administrative competencies in various fields.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa lauded the efforts of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the efforts of Dr. Tasnim Al-Atatreh, in particular, to upgrade the partnership with the Organization, stressing the pioneering national steps taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain in this sector, which was evident through the praise of the international community for the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain in addressing the Corona pandemic (COVID-19).
