Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, stressed that the national efforts of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, (may Allah protect her), have made Bahraini women an essential component in the development process, and a pivotal engine for the development and leadership of institutional work in the public and private sectors. She noted that the continuity of achieving gender balance in institutional strategies and policies is one of our priorities, as it is a key priority to achieve national plans and aspirations aimed at the advancement of the Kingdom of Bahrain in all fields.
Her statement came during while she presided over the meeting of the Equal Opportunities Committee, which reviewed the most important results of the Equal Opportunities Committee at the Institute of Public Administration for the year 2022, and the initiatives for the implementation of the national plan, in addition to internal initiatives that aim to promote equal opportunities and gender balance, and create a supportive and stimulating work environment for Bahraini women working at the Institute.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa congratulated the Supreme Council for Women on the occasion of the twenty-second anniversary of the founding of this national edifice, which is today a clear indication and tangible evidence of the real achievements made by the Kingdom of Bahrain for the advancement of Bahraini women, which has become a prominent model for the international community on how women can contribute to accelerate the wheel of development in all fields, adding that the Institute of Public Administration seeks, through a number of its services and projects , to building and developing the leadership capabilities of Bahraini women in public and private sector institutions to enhance their progress by upgrading institutional outputs and coming up with initiatives aimed at building a sustainable local and international culture and reputation.
