Her Excellency Dr. Jalila bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa (may Allah protect him), and the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, (may Allah protect him), considers investing in Bahraini youth a national priority, as they are the main engine to advance development and achieve national aspirations, by upgrading the youth sector, developing programs dedicated to them, and consolidating the approach of creativity and innovation.
Her Statement came on the occasion of meeting with the participants of the fifth batch of the National Leadership Program “HIPO-YOUTH”, which is organized by the Institute of Public Administration in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and INJAZ Bahrain.
For her part, Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, explained that the HIPO-YOUTH program comes in line with the government’s agenda aimed at consolidating the approach of innovation and creativity, noting that the program mainly seeks to refine the capabilities of Bahraini youth and provide them with the tools of science and knowledge, and their participation in making change through the formulation of creative and innovative ideas and initiatives that are presented to decision makers.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana added that the Hypo Youth program has been able for four consecutive years, to provide a number of distinguished national outputs, as the participants in previous editions contributed to the preparation of more than 30 youth projects and initiatives that serve a number of vital sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She added that a number of national studies have been completed by the youth for the youth, related to the foundations of youth work and youth talents, as these outputs reflect the actual role of Bahraini youth and their achievements. to promote the Kingdom of Bahrain at various levels.
