Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, the Director General of Bahrain Institute for Public Administration (BIPA), affirmed that the institute is keen on developing national leaders in both the Public and Private sectors, in line with national directives aimed at making both sectors move in the same direction, in order to raise the quality of the services provided and raise the national expectations.
Her statement came during her attendance of the event entitled “Artificial Intelligence in the field of Management and Decision-making” organized by the Institute for the affiliates of Tatweer Petroleum and the Takween Program.
Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, explained that these events and assemblies are open spaces for exchange of scientific expertise and applied practices, pointing out that the institute endeavors through them to keep pace with the technological developments and to forecast the training requirements of the National Cadres which will lead to the improvement of the services provided, raising their quality and excellence. She added that from this standpoint emerged the topic of Artificial Intelligence and its role in decision-making towards introducing the trainees to the to mechanism of adapting its activities commensurate opportunities matching the nature of institutional work, and to understand its role in decision-making in the Institutional work environment.
H.E. Dr. Shaika Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al-Khalifa stated that the institute for Public Administration (BIPA) strives via various educational events and its training programs, that it provides for the work systems in both the Public and Private sectors, to unify the efforts of both sides in the faith that all Institional cadres represent one system and one team that works to keep abreast with national visions and government directives aimed at advancement of the National economy and push forward the wheel of sustainable development by investing in the citizen as the main engine and the core of developmental plans.
