Najm Yousif Salmeen, the Director for Learning and Development at the Bahrain Institute for Pubic Administration (BIPA), affirmed the need to prepare the national cadres in order to become the premier choice in the field of training, by providing them with supporting scientific methodologies and the best possible international expertise and practices available.
His statement came on the occasion of the Bahrain Institute for Public Administration (BIPA) launching its program for the training of the professional trainers (TOT) in both the public and private sector establishments as well as individuals.
Mr. Salmeen added that the Institute strives via its various programs and initiatives to keep abreast of the national aspirations and directions aimed at raising the caliber of the national cadres and make them the premier choice in the work/labor system. He further highlighted that the institute will strive particularly through the training program to train the professional trainer (TOT), in order to enable the Bahraini trainer to create knowledge and make the scientific content that he presents based on the results of studies and researches being carried out in Bahrain itself, which will enable him to reach the regional and international levels of competitiveness through his keenness to ensure the programs’ outputs are in line with the current and future developments and changes.
Mr. Salmeen added that the program will provide participants with knowledge, specialized sciences and applied skills, which will later enable them to analyze training needs, design training courses and programs, develop scientific materials and training packages, and implement the training process and evaluate it with the required quality.
He concluded that this program is designed for both trainers, workers in the training and human resources sector, teachers, and those wishing to enter the world of training.
