The Director of Consultancy and research at the Institute for Public Administration (BIPA), Mr. Mohammed Al Sabba, affirmed the importance of harnessing scientific administrative researches and the skills of the researches and those interested in public policy making for the progress of both the private and public sectors.
His statement came on the occasion of the Institute’s launching of new guidelines based on the use of the existing researches in order to draft forward looking policies aimed at making the vital sectors more competitive with enhanced performance to meet the actual requirements of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He explained that these guidlines aim to elevate the field of research, through a range of educational workshops and programs aimed at harnessing the possibilities of academics and interested people and developing their skills and providing them with mechanisms that enable them to create the abstracts of their researches and articles that can be published in journals and scientific and administrative publications, which will contribute to their subsequent utilization in drafting public policies that raise the level of services provided and promote the public and private sectors.
Al-Sabaa added that the Institute, represented by the Department of Consultation and Research, seeks to intensify the process of networking efforts between the Institute and various universities, institutions and individuals, and to provide support to academics, researchers and those interested in administrative sciences, with the aim of developing their research outputs that contribute to the drafting of administrative policies that keep pace with the trends of the Kingdom of Bahrain and reflect the economic vision 2030.
