His Excellency, the Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, Mr. Wael Bin Nasser Al Mubarak, affirmed that the National Government Leadership in various Institutions and Ministries of the Kingdom are the main engine and first contributors in raising the government services provided to citizens, by following the National Government approach and by adhering to the Government agenda to meet the aspirations of the nation. He added that this would lead to raising the quality and efficiency of the local institutional work sector, thereby contributing to the level and quality of the services provided. This came during a virtual meeting with graduates of the leadership programs at the Public Administration Institute (BIPA), which was entitled “The Future of Government Work”.
Mr. Al Mubarak stated that the current stage that is being experienced by the entire world and the Public Sector locally in particular calls for concentrated and concerted efforts of the government to fulfill the needs and aspirations of the citizens. He pointed out that the responsibility lies on the shoulders of the National leaders in various institutions of the Kingdom therefore we should draw a joint and clear strategic roadmap for initiatives and projects that match the demands of the current stage. He added l that we need to employ the best practices and successful administrative experiences to draw up the institutional work strategies, which allow to combat challenges and to come up with innovative solutions that make the local government, sector a sector that is competitive and can achieve advanced results that live up to national aspirations
For his part, Dr. Raed Mohammed Bin Shams, the Director General of the Bahrain Institute for Public Administration (BIPA), stated that the National Government leaderships today are a major reference and an inspiring administrative source for the advancement of Government work, through their diverse administrative experience and rich practical experience that will contribute to the transfer of knowledge to trainees and other graduates of the Leadership Program at the Bahrain Institute for Public Administration (BIPA). He added such transfer of knowledge will open the horizons for them and employing successful management experiences and practices, and coming up with new and innovative government initiatives and projects that meet the needs of the current stage and National aspirations aimed at making the government services provided highly advanced and meet the national ambitions of the Kingdom of Bahrain and local aspirations that every Bahraini citizen aspires for.
His Excellency, Dr. Bin Shams added that His Excellency, the Minister of Electricity and water Affairs, Mr. Wael Bin Nasser Al Mubarak presented administrative proficiencies and various experiences which will open new doors for the graduates, to think in innovative ways out of the ordinary and out of the box in order to raise the efficiency of Government work and to unite and network their efforts as government work is joint work and all government cadres are national cadres working under the one umbrella called “Team Bahrain” towards the advancement of the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields and various sectors of government work.
