Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, stressed that the Institute is eager to deliver its various leadership programs, training and guidance services to all cadres working in the public and private sectors, in a manner that contributes to raising the performance levels through optimal investment in the human element to achieve the goals of the comprehensive development process in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Her statement came during the closing ceremony of the first edition of the Leadership Development Program, presented by the Institute of Public Administration for National Cadres at Bahrain Development Bank(BDB). Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa explained that the program, which was designed specifically for BDB, aims mainly to develop leadership skills, project management and problem solving, as well as enhance the concepts of corporate culture among national cadres at Bahrain Development Bank, which is reflected in the quality of performance and achievement in the workflow within the team in an integrated and coordinated manner between the various departments of the bank.
On the occasion Dalal Al Ghais, Group Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Development Bank, said: “We aim to enhance and develop the leadership skills of our employees as well as equip them with new skills. Hence, we have introduced the Leadership Development Program which is part of our strategic efforts to achieve the desired goals and strengthen our position as a leading bank financing the Small and Medium enterprises. We would like to congratulate all participants and look forward to launching the second edition of the program in future to bring in more promising talent.”
