The Emerging Leadership Development Program “Takween” is the third step in the leadership programs within the National Program for the Development of Government Leaders at the Institute of Public Administration, which targets leaders of groups or teams at the operational administrative level, as the program seeks to refine leadership and supervisory capabilities, based on effective self-management, and with the approach of love of challenge and passion for achievement, and with the Bahrain team spirit, towards achieving qualitative and national achievements, which the Kingdom of Bahrain is proud of.

Program Contents:
The program consists of the following modules:
– The leader:
This module aims to provide the participant with knowledge and theories in the field of leadership, and the importance of supervisory leadership in achieving results. It will also provide the tools to discover the participant’s leadership abilities and personal traits that enable him to lead, in addition to methods that contribute to refining his leadership and supervisory abilities, and managing himself effectively. Finally, the participant will also be able to evaluate, follow up and self-monitor in order to achieve personal excellence in accordance with the aspirations of the institution.
– Clients and Partners:
This module aims to provide the participant with the basic concepts of emotional intelligence, and the importance of emotional intelligence for the leader’s personality. It will also provide the participant with methods that will enable him to control emotions, understand and appreciate the feelings of others while dealing with customers and partners, in addition to methods of influencing people effectively and positively. The participant will also be able to make the right and informed decisions, and build a professional network, which contributes to achieving institutional aspirations.
– Teams:
This module provides the participant with the concept of a high-performing team, and the realization of the importance of identifying and investing the team’s capabilities in achieving quality results. During the module the participant will be equipped with the skills that enable him to lead the team effectively and with high performance to accomplish achievements, in addition to developing the strengths of team members and adapting them to suit the team’s dynamics, and solving the administrative problems facing the team.
– The Institution:
This module aims to provide the participant with basic knowledge of project management, institutional practices in the field of government project management, in addition to the stages of project management. It will deliver the essential tools in project management, transforming lessons learned from experience into strengths in other projects, in order to raise the level of quality and achieve results. The participant will also be able to document practices in distinguished projects, in order to maintain the sustainability of institutional work, and participate in international conferences and forums.
– Performance and Innovation:
This unit seeks to provide the participant with the concept of design thinking methodology, the stages of the design thinking process, and the areas of its uses to achieve qualitative initiatives that address priority challenges in the Kingdom of Bahrain and suit the target group. The participants will also be provided with a number of tools that enable them to implement innovative initiatives.
– Communication and Influence:
This module aims to provide the participant with basic skills in the field of brief delivery, which help him to attract the attention of the audience and communicate the ideas and try to convince them and influence them at a specific time about the idea. In addition to providing the participants with the necessary skills in presentation and brief demonstration to decision makers.
