New Public Sector Employee Establishment Program “Tasees”
A conscious government culture
The new employees program in the public sector “Ta’sees” is the first step for the new joining government employee in the leadership programs within the National Program for the Development of Government Leaders at the Institute of Public Administration. The program represents the basic building block for making the employee aware of his role in the work system in the public sector based on leadership concept and Bahraini values, and the spirit of work in the Team Bahrain spirit. The program aims to familiarize the new employee with the responsibilities of the job, by acquainting him to the basic rules and principles at work, in addition to giving him information of his rights and commitment to his duties.

Promising Leadership
This topic seeks to motivate the participant to explore his leadership tendencies, and to increase the experiences and views of leaders based on national and administrative values. In addition to enhancing his awareness of his influential role in the government work system and citizen service. He will also be provided with methods to identify the management challenges in his work environment, and how to invest the opportunities available in the fair and competitive environment to achieve personal excellence.
Bahrain between the Past – Present – and the Future
This topic develops the participant’s ethos of the past, present and future of the Kingdom of Bahrain, through the history of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the inclusive national values, in addition to providing him with the most important pillars of Bahrain’s Vision 2030, and the most important trends in the sublime speeches of His Majesty the King, in order to form a national leadership figure, and enable him to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain in local and international forums.
Communication with a National Identity
This module aims to provide the participant with the basic knowledge to deal with various personalities in the work environment, including clients and partners, to perform his job duties professionally, and to enhance his role and responsibility in preserving his Bahraini identity and institutional reputation. The participant will also learn the basic skills in work related protocols in order to achieve a high level of communication and positive impact and provide the best services to the citizen in the interest of the public sector.
Civil Service Law and its Implementation
This topic aims to familiarize the participant with his rights and duties related to civil service regulations, in order to ensure that he works responsibly in accordance with government work controls through laws, regulations and public policies determined by the work environment in the public sector. In addition to introducing him to the most important terms used in the public sector, and general guidelines on the stages of his career cycle. The participant will also be provided with knowledge of his job rights represented in wages and salaries, vacations, grievances, bonuses, incentives, promotions, job performance management, health, and safety in the work environment, in addition to any new controls that contribute to raising the efficiency of institutional work and achieving its sustainability.
Retirement Law
This topic develops a participant’s early career culture about retirement benefits and rights, helping them chart their career path from the beginning of joining the public sector. He will also be introduced to the terms related to the retirement law and provided with all the retirement rights guaranteed by the Kingdom of Bahrain to workers in the public sector, with the aim of creating a culture of awareness to ensure comfort and social stability for the employee. He will also be introduced to the cases of entitlement to retirement pension and retirement bonuses, mechanisms for calculating the contractual pension based on the period of service in public and private sector institutions, in addition to the retirement benefits granted by the Social Insurance Organization to the employee, such as the law of calculating the virtual and previous service, the benefits of loans to replace the pension, and cases of work injury.
Personal Development Plan
This topic seeks to provide the participant with a set of specialized knowledge about self-development and its importance. Providing him with one of the tools that enable him to discover and develop personal and leadership skills and abilities, identify personal goals and align them with strategic objectives, and monitor and revord available development, whether on a personal or institutional level.
